About us

Our Story

Foil & Sail is an Irish-owned and Irish-run business founded in 2026 with one clear goal: to make foiling accessible to everyone.

 

The company was founded by Alexander Trickett, a current WASZP sailor and former 49er sailor, together with Charlotte O’Kelly, who races competitively in the SB20 class and has also sailed in the RS Aero class.

​

Foil & Sail brings foiling within reach by using the BirdyFish range of boats, which offer exceptional stability, speed, and fun. These boats are ideal for all ages and abilities, whether you are completely new to foiling or looking to progress.

​

In 2026, we will be taking our BirdyFish boats on demo days around Ireland so you can experience foiling first-hand.

We look forward to welcoming you on the water at one of our demo days.
